What is a Bids Back auction?

If you lose a Bids Back auction, you will have the chance to buy the product at the listed retail price and get all of the bids that you spent on that auction returned to you! This means that you can freely bid as much as you want to try and score the product at an unbelievable price!

To avail of the bids back option, just click “My Account” on the upper right portion of your screen. Then click on the “Lost? Get Bids Back” link to purchase the item at the listed retail price. After purchasing, all of the bids that you have used on that auction will be credited back to your Bids Account!

But the number of extra items are limited so if you lose, you must act fast! You can check the quantity of items available for purchase by hovering your mouse pointer on the bids back hammer icon.

Is there a limit on the number of auctions that can be won?

Yes, there is. A single user can win a maximum of only five (5) auctions in a 10-day period. The user will be allowed to bid once again on an auction once the specified time limit is over.

For example, you have won one (1) auction every day in the last five (5) days. After winning the fifth auction, you will not be allowed to bid on any auction anymore until ten (10) days has passed since the day that you have won the first auction. So, if you won the first auction on Monday and won the fifth auction on Friday, you will not be able to bid on any auction until Thursday of next week.

This gives everyone more chances of winning! We would like to give more opportunity for every user to win and get the most out of their PisoBid experience.

How to register on PisoBid?

To be able to participate at a PisoBid auction you must be a member. Registration is free and is very simple. Just visit the PisoBid homepage and click on the “Register” button at the upper right hand side of the screen.

After clicking, you will be redirected to the Account Creation page. Just fill out the form as seen below by providing all the necessary information. After doing so, click on the “I agree to the Terms and Conditions” button to create your account. (Make sure you have read and understood PisoBid’s Terms & Conditions before proceeding with this step!)

Please bear in mind that the username you create should be proper and appropriate. Usernames that are offensive, misleading, offend common decency, or infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties are strictly not allowed. PisoBid will change your username without prior notice if found to violate this condition.

How many accounts can a user create?

Each user may register only once. This means that only one (1) account can be created per person.

Additionally, PisoBid will allow several accounts in a single household as long as the number of accounts corresponds to the same number of individual persons who actually registered. So, adult members living in one (1) household can register and create separate accounts.

Please be aware that creation of multiple accounts is a violation of PisoBid’s Terms of Use. Also, accounts cannot be transferred to any other person and should not be used by anybody else except that of the account owner. Evidence of the above activities will result in getting your account disabled.

What are the violations that should be avoided in PisoBid?

To give its users the safest and best auction experience possible, PisoBid has some guidelines on prohibited acts that should be avoided at all costs. Any user suspected of engaging in suspicious activities will have their accounts terminated and disqualified. There will be no refund of bids and funds that will be given. Here are the activities that are forbidden:

• Team Play/Collusion – By definition, this includes but is not 
limited to, two (2) or more users working together as a team, or creating the impression that there are more people involved and competing to win an auction than there actually are. While members in the same household are permitted to have separate accounts, they are not permitted to bid on the same auctions. Two members participating in the auction are, by definition, engaging in team play, and will automatically lose their right to win, purchase, or receive any of their bids back for auctions in which they engaged in team play.
•  Intimidation Play – This includes, but is not limited to, comments, whether true or false, about having an excessive number of bids to psych out other users. Other forbidden tactics include harassing other users through name-calling, threats, and other unsportsmanlike behavior.
•  Multiple Accounts – Creating and maintaining more than one (1) account or having control or influence over more than one (1) account is strictly prohibited.

PisoBid will not tolerate any inappropriate or fraudulent activity. Any abuse of a user account or violations to the Terms & Conditions can result in termination of the account, as well as the pursuit of civil law remedies and criminal law proceedings.

How do I bid on an item in PisoBid?

Once you have registered and have armed yourself with bids, you can now start bidding! Head over to the PisoBid homepage to browse the active, on-going auctions.

Decide on what auction you want to participate in. When you have found an item you want to bid on, just click on the item’s image or avatar and you will be redirected to the auction’s item details page. Here, you will be able to see the bidding history and the auction details – which includes the timer, the running auction price and the current highest bidder. At the bottom of the page you can see the item’s product description and shipping information.

When you are ready to place a bid, just click on the golden “BID” button. After you have placed a bid, Pisobid will deduct 1 bid from your Bid Balance and your username will appear as the highest bidder.

If you’re on top when the timer runs out, and nobody else places a bid after you, you win the auction!

What are bids and bid packs?

Before you can join in an auction on PisoBid, you need to have bids in your account. These bid credits will allow you to “bid” or make an offer in the auction.

The price per bid will depend on the bid pack of your choice. The bigger the pack, the more savings you get!

Purchased bids do not expire, are non-transferrable, and are not refundable.

What is a Diamond auction?

A Diamond auction is a special auction for PisoBidders who have not won a diamond auction within the last 30 days. This type of auction usually features the most sought after, high end gadgets and hottest items today!

I won the auction! What’s next?

Once you’ve won an auction, the next step is to claim and pay for your item. Simply click on the “CLAIM” button and follow the instructions to submit your payment for the auction.

Alternatively, you can also go to your “MY ACCOUNT” page and check “MY WINS” to claim any items that you may have won. As soon as payment has been made, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you and we will start the process to have your item shipped directly to your door.

Auction wins should be claimed and purchased within 72 hours starting from the time the auction ended. So, once you have won an auction, confirm your winnings right away!

Does PisoBid use bots?

No! We at PisoBid do not use any robot or bots and we never will. These bots are known as “fake users” that are programmed to boost the prices of auctioned items or prolong the length of auctions. PisoBid intensely oppose and will not tolerate this practice, ever!

We have not developed our website with the capacity of employing fake bidders because we are committed to giving you a safe and enjoyable bidding experience to the highest standards.

Can sellers auction items through PisoBid?

No, sellers cannot auction their own items on PisoBid. But they can participate in the bidding to win brand new, brand name merchandise at deeply discounted prices!

How long does an auction in PisoBid last?

PisoBid puts up items for auction with a specific time limit that lets users know it is still open for bidding. At the end of an auction’s time limit, a countdown timer will be used. The timer varies depending on the type of auction you are bidding on. It can be 6 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds or 20 seconds, etc…The length of an auction ultimately depends on the bidders, because every time someone bids on the item, the countdown timer resets itself.

This will give other users the chance to place a bid. This is similar to the traditional house auctions where the host yells, “Going Once… Going Twice… SOLD!” When the countdown timer reaches zero and no new bids are placed, that signals the end of the auction.

Watch the clock and monitor the countdown timer to give you the best chance in placing your bid on time. Don’t forget to stock up on bids so you won’t run out during your favorite auction!

Is my Computer and Internet Connection fast enough to participate in PisoBid Auctions?

Do not attempt to play Pisobid if you are experiencing less than optimal internet browsing and connectivity. If you choose to play PisoBid according to our Terms and Conditions, please ensure you have a reliable internet service provider, the latest browser software, and a computer with good processing power.

PisoBid will always run on the most advanced technology available to ensure a smooth, accurate, and fair auction. At the same time, PisoBid encourages all its users to observe these steps to decrease any potential internet lag time:

• When on PisoBid, go to the item details page by clicking on the item avatar or item link – For observing, the Home page or Front page is fine. But if you decide to start bidding, please go to the item detail page. PisoBid’s web pages are dynamic, with lots of data such as timers/prices constantly updating. This naturally consumes resources in your computer, especially your RAM (Memory). In older computers (or even new computers with low processors), browsers, or low internet connections, this may cause potential lags in bidding time and timer discrepancies because they may be unable to process and communicate requests fast enough.
• Shut down all other resource intensive applications– Software such as Apple iTunes and Adobe Photoshop can often cause your computer to run slowly, especially if it’s an older laptop or PC with a slower processor.
• Make sure you’re using the latest version of your Browser – You may be using Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox or Google Chrome. Whichever browser you use, look for an update button and download the latest version.
• Close any programs you’re running that require an internet connection– For example, stop playing World of Warcraft, stop streaming/downloading the latest episode of Glee, etc.

I’m a minor. Am i allowed to PisoBid?

Unfortunately, MINORS ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED.  These auctions are fun, and are meant to be enjoyed by responsible adults. If you are a parent or guardian, please take the necessary precautions to prevent unauthorized use of PisoBid by minors, such as deploying a reliable internet security software to monitor and secure your child’s internet activity.

Can you offer some tips on PisoBidding?

Our goal is for you to have a fun, exciting bidding experience! Please note that since there are often multiple people bidding on the same item there is no guarantee that everyone can win. We encourage all users to observe the following guidelines to ensure a safe, positive experience when participating in our auctions:

• Focus on a single item at a time, and bid on the auction item’s detail page. We do not recommend people bidding on multiple items at the same time. Please do not get too greedy and try to win many auctions at the same time.
• Take time to observe and learn auctions first – follow ongoing auctions and ended auctions. Try to analyze the many different bidding strategies and popularity levels of different items on auction.
• Decide on a budget and stick to it. Before an auction begins, decide on a maximum number of bids/ and maximum price you are prepared to spend on an individual item and stick to it.
• Take regular breaks between your bidding activities – bidding can be physically and mentally exhausting.
• Never participate in the auctions under the influence of alcohol or medication. Bid only when you are fully rested and relaxed.
• Don’t be afraid to walk away – most items on PisoBid will be auctioned again at a later date. If you feel that you have extended your physical or financial limit, STOP. Save your remaining bids and energy for another auction.

How Safe is it to PisoBid?

We understand that for users to enjoy their experience, they should feel safe every time they Pisobid. Bidding on PisoBid auctions should be an enjoyable and exciting experience. It’s an innovative and fun way of purchasing quality new items at a fraction of the retail price.

We take our responsibilities as a fun, fair auction host seriously:

• We do not have any robots, or any people affiliated with us in any way, to bid on any items. And we never will.
• We are continuously monitoring all auctions and user registrations for suspicious or fraudulent activity as defined in our Terms and Conditions. We protect your bidding experience to the highest standards. And we always will.

What is a countdown timer (15 seconds, 20 seconds, etc)?

A countdown timer is used at the end of an auction’s time limit.

For example, if the auction has a 15 second timer, any time that someone bids before the final countdown 00:00…Going..Going…Gone, the timer will reset to 15 seconds and start counting down again.

If the auction has a 20 second timer, the auction will reset to 20 seconds whenever a new bid is placed before the final countdown.

The auction ends when there are no more bids before the countdown completes. Make sure that you stock up on bids so that you don’t run out during your favorite auction!!

Going, 0:01, 0:02?

Should I wait until the last moment ‘Going’ before I submit my bid?

No, you should not wait until Going before bidding since you may be too late! Try to always bid at 00:02; 00:01 should be last resort – because of network latency you bid may not be counted!

Do I need PayPal or a Credit Card?

No!
You can also buy bids and pay for auction items you’ve won with cash thru GCash, CashSense (thru 7-11 and M.Lhuillier outlets), LoadCentral Dealers & Retailers (Buy Bidpacks only), DragonPay (online banking and over-the-counter banking) and soon bancnet.

What is a Cherry auction?

A Cherry auction is a special auction for PisoBid users who have not yet won an auction. These kind of auctions can be identified by the cherry icon.

As soon as you win your first auction on PisoBid, you will no longer be eligible to bid on cherry auctions.

E-mails from pisobid are not arriving. What should I do?

Please check your e-mail spam folder and click ‘not spam’.  Also be certain to add the following e-mail address to your contact list: hello AT pisobid.com

During final count down, why does the timer reset when a user bids?

This is equivalent to the Going once… Twice… SOLD procedure of offline auctions. PisoBid wants to give each customer a chance to participate in an auction.

Can I undo already submitted bids?

No, once you have clicked the “BID” button and placed a bid, you cannot withdraw it. Already submitted bids are final and cannot be undone.

Where is my friend’s referral e-mail?

Q: I sent an e-mail to refer my friend but he/she has not yet received it?

A: Depending on what your e-mail provider is, the message may take some time to show up in your friend’s inbox. Also be sure to double-check that the message was not sent into the Spam Folders of your e-mail provider.

How can I track my package?

If, at any point, you’d like to find out the status of your item, contact us @Support and we will take care of tracking it for you. Make sure you include your full name, Username and Auction ID when contacting us.

Do you offer international shipping?

Unfortunately, Pisobid does not currently offer international shipping.

All of our shipping costs will appear at the bottom of each Auction Details page and are for delivery anywhere within the Philippines.

Estimated delivery time

Our items are shipped as soon as we’ve received your payment. Although the delivery time can vary based on the products, most of them will take approximately 3-5 days to get there. As soon as your item has been shipped, we will notify you by email. In the rare event that you have not received your item, please contact our support team and we will immediately take care of getting your item to your doorstep. Your satisfaction is Pisobid’s number 1 priority.

 

How do I join PisoBid and start Bidding?

Follow the steps outlined below to to start bidding at PisoBid auctions and begin buying merchandise.

To be able to participate at a PisoBid auction you must be a member. So the first step is to register. Registration is very simple and you just need to fill out a form through which you will create a username and password, as well as input some personal information. Once you complete the registration form, make sure you also check your e-Mail and click on the validation link to activate your PisoBid account.

After activating your account the next step is to purchase some bids. These bids will allow you to bid on the auction. Bids come in packs of 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500. The price per bid will depend on the bid pack you choose. The more bids you buy, the more discount you get!

You can pay for the bid packs using any credit card or PayPal account.  At the moment, Only PayPal and Pre-paid cards (LoadCentral) are available.  Keep in mind that having more bids will put you at a competitive advantage against the other members.

After purchasing some bids, you can now join the auction!  Pick the item you’re interested in and start bidding!

How does PisoBid Work?

After going through the process of registering an account and buying bid packs, you may now start bidding on an item that you like in the auction.  Once you’ve placed a bid, the following things will happen:

• The item starts at a price of 1 peso
• The price of the item goes up by 1 Centavo (0.01 peso)
• The timer resets itself to allow other users to place a bid; similar to a physical auction where the host yells: “Going Once, Going Twice… Sold!”
• You are now the highest bidder. If you’re on top when the timer runs out, and nobody else places a bid after you, you win the auction!

Can I purchase bids with cash?

We have partnered with Cashsense so that you can buy bids with CASH at any 7-11 or MLhuillier branch nationwide!

How to purchase bid packs?

There are 2 ways to purchase bid packs. You can directly buy bids online through the PisoBid Website. Payment can be made via Paypal, credit card, debit card and GCASH. After you have registered and logged in, you can purchase bid packs by clicking the Buy Bids tab at the upper part of the page.

Choose a bid pack that is right for you and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.

After purchasing a bid pack, the bids are automatically credited in your Bids Account.

For your convenience, you can now buy bid packs with cash thru Cashsense at any 7-11 and MLhuillier branches nationwide. You can also buy bid packs at more than 1000 LoadCentral locations all over the Philippines. Please see our Cashsense and LoadCentral payment guides below.

Cashsense payment guide:

1. Simply choose Cashsense (Pay with cash) as your payment choice as shown in the above instructions.
2. Print out or write down your reference number.
3. Visit any 7-Eleven or MLhuillier branch.
4. Give the reference number and mention Cashsense as the biller to the cashier and pay.
5. Collect receipt from cashier.

That’s it! the bidpack that you’ve bought will automatically be credited to your account.

Purchasing through LoadCentral is like buying a pre-paid phone card where you will receive a PIN and Serial Code that you can redeem on our Redeem PIN page. Simply purchase a bidpack directly from any of LoadCentral’s partners and retailers.  Just enter both the PIN and Serial Codes at the corresponding text boxes and click the “Redeem” button.

Viola! Your bids have now been credited to your Bids Account.
